PSO2 The Animation NPCs (Part Five)

The final two members of Itsuki’s crew arrive in the Shop Area with the addition of Orga Cats and Master Nezumi! Apart from offering players their partner cards and client orders, they will also appear in Emergency Trials.

By clearing their client orders, players can obtain the ★13 [Imperial Pick-NT] Partisan and [Meteor Cudgel-NT] Double Saber. These orders are repeatable, meaning you can obtain the rewards several times and grind the weapons to the limit. You can even customize their photon color over at the Item Lab.

Legacy Parts Collection G 2016

Sega is showing CAST players some love with a two-week long revival scratch that exclusively features CAST parts. The scratch will officially run from September 14th through the 28th.

Treasure Shop Limited Revival

For a limited time, the Meseta side of the Treasure Shop will be selling Music Discs previously obtainable only through Item Codes. In addition, past Lobby Actions and Accessories from the FUN Scratch will also appear. These items will be available from September 14th through October 19th.

Marathon Practice: Tokyo

Our newest Time Attack Quest has players running through the streets of Tokyo. Utilizing the dash panels, they must rush to the end avoiding the constant deluge of missile strikes. Along the way, they’ll encounter a series of scaffolds requiring quick reflexes to cross the gaps at high speed. At the end awaits the Train Ghidoran, defeat it to clear the Time Attack quest.

Trick or Treat 2016

A late night monster bash is being held at the desert in the [Trick or Treat 2016] Emergency Quest! The bonus PSE effect introduced last year returns, applying only to those wearing Halloween costumes. Zeta Guranz has a chance of appearing again, but this time under a specially named variant. Characters such as Orga Cats and Master Nezumi will pop up in the quest’s Emergency Trials, equipped with their best Halloween accessories.

Halloween 2016 Bingo

進化デバイス／ワンダラー (Evo. Device / Wanderer)

The Halloween 2016 Bingo card has various objectives for defeating enemies that appear in the Trick or Treat quest. Other objectives will task players with clearing specific client orders and progressing through the story. Rewards for completing the bingo include a voodoo doll Mag device and some Star Gems.

Assist Share (Summoner Main Class Only)

• The previous pet’s Shifta, Deband, and Sympathy effects are transferred over even if you switch to another Pet or Weapon.

Long Distance Love (Summoner Main Class Only)

• This skill allows you to respond to Sympathy requests even if you perform Shifta or Deband from long distances.

New PA and Technic Customizations

Sacrifice Bite Type-0

• Quickly absorbs Photon to create an even more powerful Photon Blade for Normal and Step attacks.

Straight Charge Type-0

• Hold the button down to continuously charge through enemies.

Parallel Slider Type-0

• Altered the PA to let you shoot enemies while hovering around.

Sharp Bomber Type-0

• You now have the option of leaping forward.
• Charge the attack to deal a powerful blow.

Strike Gust Type-0

• Hold down the button to continue attacking while rising in the air.
• This custom PA is not chargeable, letting you activate the attack more quickly.

Sa Foie Type-0

• Makes the player draw a certain distance closer to the target before activating. Charge it up for a powerful blow.

Ra Megid Type-0

• Orbs will surround the player for a limited time.
• Enemies receive damage when they come in contact with these orbs.
• Charge the Technic to deal damage in shorter intervals.

Gathering Update

Gathering Spots have finally made their way to the Tundra and Volcanic Caverns. Using the materials from each field, you can create new Cuisines and Skill Rings that cover a variety of effects.

Speaking of Skill Rings, you can now either place them on the Player Shop market, or trade them with other players. Now you’ll have added convenience in finding a Skill Ring that’s right for you.

Some of the new Skill Rings included in this update are as follows:

L / Step Jump

• Increases movement speed for a Jump during a [Step].

L / Slow Dive Roll

• Extends the duration of the [Dive Roll] by making it slower.

L / Air Reversal

• Lets you perform a reversal in the air.

• Reduces charging time when you combo from a Photon Art to a Technic.

Franca’s Night Café

Enjoy the poolside experience of a luxury hotel at Franca’s Night Café! Sparkling in the moonlight, the water entices players to take a dip. The sights of Empe Rappy and Arkuma fireworks light up the night sky.

Battleship Base

Peer across the ocean as your Team Room is transformed into a large battleship! Explore the exterior of the ship from the deck to all the way atop the bridge. Interact with the cannons to experience the intense shelling power of the ship’s artillery.

Salon Update

Players can now access all of the costumes, parts, and outerwear located in their Character Storage from within the salon! The PC and PS4 versions will utilize a larger window making it easier to view your list of choices.

A.I.S Interface Improvements

The interface will now display the number of active A.I.S. units within the quest. Players currently boarding these units will show up with a unique icon on the Radar Map.

Summoner Interface Improvements

This update will add the option of displaying your pet’s HP and other effects on the Action Palette. Now you can ascertain the status of your pets in a quick and convenient manner.

Appraisal Interface Improvements

No longer having to run back and forth between Kiara and Dudu, you’ll now have the option of opening the Storage Menu straight from the Appraisal Shop.

New Chat Commands

You can now switch your My Set preferences in a flash with the new [/myset] chat command. This chat command will work in the ARKS Lobby, Casino Area, Player Room, Team Room, and Franca’s Cafe! This feature, however, is not available once you go out on a quest.

The other new chat command allows you to switch between different skill rings. Just type [/skillring] and the name of the ring you wish to switch to.

Ultimate Amduscia

The crystalline caverns of Ultimate Amduscia are finally here! Deep inside the cave is a powerful boss whose destination is blocked off by several crystals.

In order to remove these crystals, each room’s trial must be cleared. Each room pits players against the quest’s unique assortment of enemies and bosses, coupled with the relentless assault of the Dragonkin Meteorite. With all of the crystals gone, a new boss will emerge.

＊Access to this quest is available to those whose main and sub classes are level 75 or higher.

Gruezoras Drago

Radiant in its design, this dragon moves swiftly, firing off prismatic lasers within its vicinity. Prithee take heed when the beasts’ wings are spread!

Drago Deadlion

Wielding a sword on its left, and a shield on its right, this boss inflicts great devastation when plunging its blade into the ground. Be vigilant in destroying both of the tools at its disposal.

Box Dewbles

Aided by its jet propulsion ability, this dragon swoops down from above, delivering a mighty jab to players below.

Anga Fundarge

A form of Anga Fundarge like we’ve never seen before. Its new beast-like visage allows for unpredictable and powerful attacks.

Amduscia Aberrations

Several new enemies resembling dragonkin will appear throughout the quest. Luda Sorcerer’s aberration form is also expected to show up.

Ultimate Amduscia Drops

Aside from weapon drops, Ultimate Amduscia will offer players the chance to receive ★12 Units. Aside from that, ★13 eggs from Aero, Popple, and Zinga, can also drop within the quest.

Corrupted Amduscia Collection

The Gix weapon series featured in this collection has a potential whose power rises when a certain condition is met.

Zinga: Wanda’s Superior

Zinga Assault

• Stronger with a wider area of effect, this attack strikes enemies at lightning speed.

Aero: Torim’s Superior

Aero Spiral

• This attack unleashes a powerful blow due to the addition of a shockwave attack within Torim Spiral.

Popple: Cery’s Superior

Popple Plosion

• A chargeable PA that delivers a giant explosion.

Rarity Evolving

You can even rarity evolve the original pet over to it’s superior type at the pet lab!

★12 Unit Skills

You can now create Unit Skills by consuming an L-Skill Ring into a ★12 Unit! This can be done for Rear, Arm, and Leg units leading to a total of 4 L-Ring skills on your character.

New Story Events

Peace has returned to the ARKS Ship following Mother Cluster’s invasion. Matoi is delighted to have reunited with the player at last. However, a new problem arises. For one, Phaleg has reemerged, coming to blows with Combat Commander Huey.

By progressing through these new story events, players can receive a new partner card for Matoi!

Trick or Treat 2016 Trigger

Celebrate Halloween on your own schedule with the Trick or Treat 2016 Quest Trigger. It works exactly like the EQ, giving you a costume bonus if you wear certain outfits.

Million Arthur Collection (AC Scratch)

PSO2 is collaborating with Square Enix’s mobile Kai-ri-Sei Million Arthur game to add costumes and accessories based on several of its characters! Huey’s new Episode 4 layered wear and hairstyle will also be available in the scratch.

Emilia and Vivienne of the Phantasy Star Portable games will appear in the Shop Area for a limited time! Watch as the two interact in additional story events, featuring all-new voice recordings!

Obtain the girls’ partner cards, clear their client orders, and receive their ★13 weapons.

Emilia’s Rod and Vivienne’s Double Saber can be earned through clearing their client orders. They can also be received as a clear reward for Emergency Trials in which the two girls appear. Both weapons have photon color changing functionality, which can be performed at the Item Lab.

Gurhal Collection 2 (AC Scratch)

The second Gurhal Collection scratch features Howzer and Helga layered wear, as well as a Vivienne costume!
