Phantom & School Life (AC Scratch)

Phantasy Star Online 2 is collaborating with Persona 5 to introduce outfits of some of the main cast members! Dress up in their school uniforms or under the guise of their double lives as the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.

This AC Scratch is scheduled to launch in an update on December 21st.

ESC-A Falz Mother

The eruption of aether engulfing the moon’s surface has materialized in the form of ESC-A Falz Mother, a being hellbent on endless destruction. To save the Earth, we must head to the moon, pursue her aboard the Ride Roid, and defeat her.

The Ride Roid has been upgraded with new offensive capabilities for this quest. The Auto Shot automatically fires bullets from the front of the Ride Roid, while Homing Missiles allow for more precise, guided projectiles. When in close proximity to the enemy, unleash a Spin Attack. If you’re starting to fall behind, use the Over Boost ability to increase acceleration.

This Emergency Quest will only occur at pre-scheduled times and can be cleared just once per occurrence on each ship.

Phantom Mother Collection

The Phantom Mother Collection includes the new [Astra] series of weapons. Once unsheathed, these weapons produce a visual effect of floating cubes that converge into the ESC-A symbol. In addition, a ★13 Redran egg is also available in the collection. These sheets focus on the new Emergency Quest and enemies that appear on Earth.

★14 Weapons

The December 21st update marks the debut of the hotly anticipated ★14 rarity weapons! Getting your hands on one won’t be so easy, as they will not be included in the Collection File and can only be acquired as a drop. To compensate for their low drop rates, their elemental and overlimit caps will be maxed out, allowing you to grind straight to +35.

New Pet: Redran

Redran is a Dragon-type pet who specializes in long distance attacks. Its [Redran Laser] PA is capable of locking onto several enemies to barrage them with homing lasers. Another move called [Redran Burst] produces several orbs dependent on how long the PA was charged. Similarly to Cery, it can pull enemies together with its [Redran Gravity] ability.

New Trigger Quest

Celebrate Christmas any time of the year with the [Merry Christmas 2016 Trigger]! This quest also supports the costume bonus effect, just like its Emergency Quest counterpart.

Las Vegas Limited Quest

Enemy forces from various locations have gone berserk in District C of Las Vegas! With the absence of the Ride Roids, the ARKS must utilize Dash Panels and Catapults to maneuver around the city.

The shorter your clear time, the higher the end of quest evaluation will be. Thus, players must find the briefest routes towards reaching enemy spawn points. Expect to see higher rates of boss encounters as you gain quest points. Falz Douril and Douran will appear at the end with prefixed names.

New Year’s Xie

With the havoc in Las Vegas, the ARKS New Year’s celebrations haven’t gone quite as planned. Xie returns red-faced to offer players client orders to help mop up the mess.

Japanese Style ★13 Weapons

Xie will also be opening an exchange shop stocked with the new ”Japanese Style” series of ★13 weaponry. To trade for these items, you’ll need to earn [Weapons Badge 2017] from the limited quest.

ARKS New Year Carnival 2017 Web Event

The ARKS New Year Carnival 2017 is a new Web Interlocking Event running through March 8th. Players can participate by collectively amassing enough points to unlock rewards presented by each panel. Earning points can be accomplished by obtaining Weapons Badge 2017.

Collection Sheet SG Slots

Gain up to two additional Collection Sheet slots by paying Star Gems! Paying for them in this manner gives you continued access to that slot.

New Gathering Spots

Gathering Spots will now appear in the Skyscape and Seabed fields. Aside from new Skill Rings and Gathering Recipes, players will now be able to sell cuisines in their player shops.

L / Another Rod Shoot Mode

• “Rod Shoot” projectiles will now detonate on impact, damaging enemies caught in the explosion.

L / Just Reversal B

• Deals damage to surrounding enemies upon landing from a Just Reversal.

L / Step JA Combo

• Provides an opportunity to Just Attack following a Step.

R / Quick Mate

• Speeds up the time it takes to consume mate items.
• Unavailable to the Braver class, whether main or sub.

R / Panic Guard

• Provides resistance against Panic.

New Team Room

Embark on a lunar expedition with the [Moon’s Surface] Team Room! This base features a balloon collection mini-game like the one in Tokyo. Grab them all as quickly as you can with the help of the moon’s low gravity.

Easier Story Board Quests

Story Board quests are receiving a new difficulty. In “Easy” mode, the enemies are capped at a lower level, allowing you to enjoy the story in peace. Please keep in mind that you can only receive Titles from certain quests if they’re cleared on “Normal” difficulty.

Temporarily Disable Boost Item Effects

A new feature introduced in this update will allow you to temporarily halt the effects of boost items. This feature can be accessed from the Drink Menu and toggled by ticking the checkbox at the top. Taking a drink while the box is marked will pause the boost item’s effect and duration until the drink has expired.

Critical Damage Display Improvement

Critical damage numbers will now display more prominently than before.

Rare Item Notification

You can now toggle ON and OFF the display of Rare Item notifications of Party Members.

Collection Sheet Gauge Colors

Collection Sheet result gauges will begin displaying the rare drop boosting portion in yellow.

New Items in the Recycle Shop

[Evo. Device / Stealth] is heading to the Recycle Shop. This new form makes your Mag appear invisible.

The Recycle Shop will also include the [No Sticker] option, hiding the display of stickers from your outfit.

Weaponoid Potentials

New weaponoid potentials will be added for T-Yasminikov 2000H, God Hand-NT, Bio Beld, and Rentaunam-NT. You can unlock these potentials by collecting Weaponoid Boosters through PSO2es.

Other Additions and Adjustments

New Trigger Quest

• [T: Annihilator’s Apparition] has been added as a new Trigger Quest.

Tutorial Menu

• Tutorials will now be categorized, making it easier to lookup specific tutorials.

Daily Boost Improvements

• You can now achieve a maximum Daily Boost of +50%.
• Daily Orders which raise the boost will now be set at +5%.

Turret Improvements

• Turrets will receive an increase in attack power on Hard or higher difficulties. This will apply only to some types of turrets.

Gathering Improvements

• Increased the animation speed for Fishing.

Star Gem Improvements

• Increased the amount of Star Gems received from maxed attachment gauges.
• Increased the amount of Star Gems received from Gold and Silver Magatsu Bonus Quests.

Star Ship Valkyrie (AC Scratch)

Suit up for the new year in dragon inspired layered wear and CAST parts! Other outfits include a military maiden uniform and work attire reminiscent of the Ol Blink costume.

Let’s kick off 2017 with the ARKS New Year Carnival; an interlocking event where players earn points to unlock rewards on the official site.

Participating quests throughout the event will award players with items called [Weapons Badge 2017]. The more you collect, the more points you contribute to the collective score for unlocking the panel reward.

Only those who participate will qualify for the item rewards after the event is over. To ensure of this, you’ll need to clear ALL qualifying quests at least once during the event period.

PSO2 The Animation Characters

The ladies of PSO2 The Animation are back in the lobby for the Valentine’s event! Clear all of RINA, Silva, and Lilika’s client orders and something will happen during the White Day event.

RINA will also make an appearance in Emergency Trials.  Among the rewards for clearing them are [Arm / Fiogulls]; a ★12 unit that provides ranged, fire, lightning, and dark resistances, while raising the Max PP, R-ATK, and R-DEF.

RINA’s Weapon Camo

Impress that special someone by clearing RINA’s client orders. Doing so will net you the [＊Frey Faegen ], a weapon camo with both Launcher and Talis functionality.

New Story Events

After revealing his true colors, Ardem’s relationship with the ARKS has become estranged.  Even with Al’s return, Ardem’s next move remains unknown, with Enga regretting his inability to stop his former leader. What sort of events will transpire under Ardem’s ambition for a “Paradigm Shift?”

Valentine’s 2017 Bingo

The Valentine’s 2017 Bingo will see players chatting up the ladies around the ARKS Lobby. One reward of note is the [Evo. Device / Polar], a Mag fashioned after a lovin’ teddy bear.

The Chocolate Way 2017

The annual Valentine’s [Chocolate Way] Emergency Quest is back with a time-based evaluation! The faster you clear the quest, the higher your ranking will be. On difficulties of Hard or above, the number of Weapons Badge 2017 you receive at the end hinges on your ranking.

The Volcanic Caverns are filled with Darkers and Ultimate Amduscia enemies. Girls galore will pop up throughout the quest during Emergency Trials to help out. The Drago Deadleon with a prefixed name serves as the final boss. Defeat this deadly foe with the help of your friends and hope for a lucky rare drop!

Chocolate 2017 Collection

The Chocolate 2017 Collection includes Sarah’s signature “Flow Razor” Wired Lance. Apart from that, the collection features weapons from the Fornis series, such as the [Fornis Beset] Twin Daggers and [Fornis Physis] Twin Machine Guns. To top it off, you’ll find ★13 Viola and Synchro pet eggs among the selection.

Sweet Love Passion (AC Scratch)

Woooo! In this corner we have the wrestling layered wear of a true champ of the ring. And in the other corner we have a cute apron and bondage gear. Sweet and sexy, these outfits are sure to attract your Valentine.
