  • Episode 5 launches July 26th!
  • New Class: HERO
  • New Heroine: Harriett

 

Episode 5: World

  • The stage is set in a parallel world engulfed in conflict.
  • Parallel World: Omega
  • [Ephimera], the non-fruit bearing flower, serves as the source of the wars.
  • ((“Non-Fruit bearing Flower” is the name [Perennial Apocalypse] uses in its title.))
  • Battle the [Demons] summoned by Ephimera!

 

 

Episode 5: Buster Quests

  • Buster Quests are Episode 5’s main quests
  • This will be PSO2’s first 8 person Multi-party quest.
  • Defeat the demons and protect the base while busting through the castle walls.
  • Collect “Mana” and summon the “Buster Pile”

 

Episode 5: New Class

  • New Class: Hero
  • PSO2’s First Advanced Class
  • Heroes are an expert class that can master Striking, Range, and Tech.
  • Experience action which transcends the classes released so far.

    • The administrator who’s awakened from his thorough calculations.

    • The fairy who guides the guardian.

    • Princess from the land of Quent.

Hero Class Unlocking

  • Hero is Main Class only. You can not set a subclass.
  • You need to earn 3 Titles for the following:
    • 1 Striking Class at Level 75
      • Valid Striking: Hu / Fi / Bo
    • 1 Ranged Class at Level 75
      • Valid Ranged: Ra / Gu / Br
    • 1 Tech  Class at Level 75
      • Valid Tech: Fo / Te / Su
  • Head to Koffie and clear the CO with the earned Titles.

 

Hero Battle System

  • Hero uses Sword, Twin Machine Guns, and Talis
  • The main feature is its [Weapon Switchable PAs]!
  • This allows you to do multi weapon-type combos.

 

Hero: Sword

  • Weapon Action: Spirit Bullet
    • Perform a rapid-fire attack or charge it up for powerful blasts.
  • Swords have derivative PAs. Its behavior will change based on the length the button is held.

 

Hero: Twin Machine Guns

  • Weapon Action: Reload
    • This allows you to recover PP during the weapon action
  • Heroes will consume PP when doing basic attacks with TMGs!
    Here they’ll perform a stronger rapid-fire attack.

 

Hero: Talis

  • Weapon Action: Swift Movement. (Let’s call it “Warp”)
    • The player fires off a “marker.”
      The player instantly warps to the marker’s location.
  • Heroes can use PAs with Talises.

 

Balance Adjustments

Hunter

  • Guard Stance:
    • Increased power and duration.
  • Wired Lance:
    • Basic Attack and Step Attack Buff and 8 PA Buffs.
  • Vol Graptor
    • Power Nerf
    • PP Consumption Increased
    • Charge Times Reduced
  • Partisan
    • 9 PA Buffs

Fighter

  • Knuckle:
    • Basic, Step Attack, and 9 PAs buffed.

Ranger

  • Weak Bullet
    • Damage will drop to 120%
    • No more weak bullet jamming!
    • Increased the number of loaded bullets.
    • Adjusted the recast times.
  • Assault Rifle:
    • Piercing Shell, Grenade Shell, Diffuse Shell, Impact Slider, and Sneak Shooter will receive a power buff.
  • Mirage Shot, Panic Shot, Jellen Shot
    • Power Buff

Gunner

  • Chain Trigger
    • Power nerf
    • Reduced Recast time
    • Extended duration
    • No change in Chain Finish’s duration.
  • Chain Finish
    • Now a Main Class only skill.
    • Valid for Striking Power and Ranged Power with TMGs.
    • Receives a Power buff.
    • (The power combined with Chain Trigger will be lower than June 10th’s)
  • Twin Machine Gun
    • Increased the amount of Gear accumulated with Dive Roll Shoot
  • Elder Rebellion and Grim Barrage
    • Power Buff

Force / Techer

  • Compound Technic:
    • Receives a 2 minute recast.
  • Various Technic and Customized Technic buffs
  • Ra Foie, Sa Barta, Il Barta, Ra Zan, Sa Zan, Grants
    • Receives decreased range. 
  • Zandeon
    • Increased power.
  • Zanverse
    • Will no longer take the effects of skills and potentials.
  • Element Mastery 1 and 2
    • Reduced the level cap to five for [Mastery 2] elements.
    • Adjusted the effect values per levels for [Mastery 1] elements.
  • Wand Lovers
    • Adjusted the effect values per level
    • Reduced the level cap to five.
  • Wand Reactor
    • Changed the level cap to 1.
    • Adjusted the effect values in response.
  • Wand Gear Element
    • Changed the level cap to 1.
    • Adjusted the effect values in response.

Braver

  • Tsukimi-sazanka, Gekka-zakuro, Fudou-kuchinashi
    • Reduced PP Consumption
  • Hien-tsubaki
    • Buffed power and gear accumulation
    • Increased rotation speed when the attack starts.

Summoner

  • Marron Strike:
    • Power nerf at the second stage.
    • Increased number of hits required for the 3rd stage.
  • Melon Strike:
    • Melon will no longer accidentally explode on you after a certain time has elapsed.
  • Dear Master
    • Activation rate buffed.
  • Reserve Recovery
    • Increased the amount HP recovered.

 

Other Changes

Enemy Adjustments

In accordance to the Weak Bullet adjustments, certain enemies in the following quests will have their HP adjusted on Super Hard and lower.

  • Mining Base Defense Quests
  • Profound Invasion
  • Paragon of Deceit
  • Ebon-Wing Vanguard
  • Utterly Profound

In accordance to the Weak Bullet adjustment, certain enemies in the following quests will have their HP adjusted on Extra Hard and lower.

  • Annihilator’s Apparition
  • Annihilator Purification

Adjusted the duration when Esca Falz Mother is in a downed state.
