Sega released a statement saying they are experiencing a DDoS attack against their servers by a third party group. Sega has decided to temporarily suspend service to PSO2, and confirmed that no gameplay data was affected. Unfortunately as the DDoS attacks continue, it will be difficult for them to reopen service. In the meantime, they will periodically release status reports to keep us posted on the situation.

Preparations are underway…
The DDoS attacks are still coming in at an intermittent rate. Sega is now advancing preparations to reopen service sometime in June.
- They will need some more time in addressing PSO2es, they’ll announce at a later time when they’ll relaunch service for PSO2es.
- AC purchases will be suspended for a while. They’ll announce at a later time when AC can be purchased again.
Unfortunately, it will take some time to reopen service for the game.
They ask that you wait for yet another followup report on Friday, June 27th at 14:00 JST.
In order to carry out further measures in response to the DDoS attacks, they will perform an official site maintenance on Thursday, June 26th at 16:00 ~ 18:00 JST.
- During this maintenance, you will not be able to connect to the official site.
- If the attacks intensify, there is a possibility that they may be forced to shut down the official site again.
The events and campaigns at the official site are currently following the original schedule. They will publish a new schedule of the events and campaigns at a later time.
Please keep in mind that SEGA has decided to postpone part 2 of the “Phantasy Star Festa 2014: Volume 1″ update that was scheduled for June 26th. They will announce this update’s rescheduling at a later time.
At this time, the current services have been suspended:

- PC/Vita Logins
- Android/iOS Logins
As for compensations, they plan to address them as follows:
- They will examine some kind of compensation for all users.
- They will extend the AC expiration date.
- They will consider extending items that are valid for a period of time, like Premium Sets and Extra Storage Slots.
- They will discuss the new schedule for the various events and campaigns (including the interlocking WEB Event) at a later time.
