Late March Client Order Changes

Starting late March, they are changing the conditions for certain quests to make them easier to unlock. Due to these changes, certain client orders from Koffie will be removed from the game. The complete list of Koffie’s client orders affected will be listed in a table below. In addition, the unlocking conditions of client orders from various NPCs will be updated to reflect these changes.

Fight the Evil Dragon Atrum by Moonlight in a New Rematch Quest

The Dark Demolisher

The sealed beast of legend has resurrected in the midst of moonlight as the ebon-scaled Dragon Atrum! Its strength greatly outmatches that of the Erythron Dragon. With harsher restrictions imposed on the Laconium Sword, its use must be timed wisely. The fight will be arduous, but we must prevail and quell the threat once more.

 

Dark Demolisher is a Rematch Quest, requiring that players first complete Crimson Castle Crusher on the Extra Hard difficulty. Only four players can participate in a single instance of the quest, all of whom must have their active main and subclass at level 80. The quest will fail once a total of three incapacitations have occurred.

PSO2 is collaborating with the VOCALOID Yuzuki Yukari to introduce various cosmetic items in her image! Unite your allies in battle with her voice, and enjoy her beautiful singing through a selection of music discs.

New Limited Quest

The second half of the ARKS New Year Carnival kicks off with a new limited quest! Return to the grassy plains of Cuent to defeat Misil Ghasud and the demon horde. Unlike Buster Quests, there’s no pesky towers to defend. Crush the encroaching Darker and Demon forces swiftly to secure a high rank in the quest evaluations.

As an added bonus, those who partake in this Limited Quest will have the chance to receive the ★12 [ Arm / Hangbode ] unit.

 

New Year Carnival Xie & Exchange Shop

Now that the ruckus of the Enchanted Forest has subsided, Xie advances with her preparations for the carnival. Apart from new client orders, her shop will be slightly expanded with fresh inventory. These items can be acquired by trading in Weapons Badge 2018.

Love is in the air of the Valentine Lobby! Open up one of the many boxes scattered about the Shop Area and delight at the sight of the scrumptious chocolates and Love Rappies that burst out!

 

The Chocolate Way 2018

Take to the molten depths for the [Chocolate Way 2018] Emergency Quest! Various ARKS ladies will join the fray during trials throughout the quest. This edition of the quest is basically the same as last year’s with some differences to the spawning enemies.

Lucky bachelors and bachelorettes may receive some Valentine’s gifts, such as the [Pink Rappy Suit Mini] costume, stat-boosting chocolates, or even a piece from the Tactio series of ★13 weapons.

Starting late March, they are changing the conditions for certain quests to make them easier to unlock. Due to these changes, certain client orders from Koffie will be removed from the game. (A Certain Magical) Virtual-On Brings Changes to PSO2’s Battle Arena

(A Certain Magical) Virtual-On Collaboration

Collab Event: February 21st ~ March 7th

Sega’s wildly popular arcade game, Virtual-On, collaborates once again with Phantasy Star Online 2 to add weapon camos, costumes, and room items! This time, the focus is on PSO2’s PvP mode, with Temjin 707G and Raiden 502 H “Judge Igniters” appearing in the Battle Lobby.

 

On the flip side, Temjin 747 A and other Virtuaroids will appear as statues around the ARKS Lobby. Both Battle and Arks Lobbies will use music from the Virtual-On series. For example, Temjin’s stage theme can be heard as background music in the Arks Lobby.

 

Virtual-On Battle Arena Collaboration

Aside from the lobby, the Battle Arena itself will also undergo some changes during the collaboration. Combatants will have access to Swords, Assault Rifles, and Jet Boots. For this event, Battle Swords will utilize either [Rising Edge], or a modified version of the [Ride Slasher] PA. For the latter, you can hold down the PA button to attack while consuming PP. You can also unleash a follow-up attack to your surroundings when you release the PA button. In addition, Battle Swords at level 3 can also appear in the form of Temjin’s weapon [Sleipnir].

 

Raiden’s signature weapon, the [Zig Launcher], will appear as the design for the level 3 Battle Rifle. Players will also have access to a modified version of the [End Attract] PA that allows movement during the charging phase.

 

Battle Arena Scratch Rewards

A Battle Arena Scratch will appear after the completion of every match with a lineup of Virtual-On goodies. Expect to see some color variations from [A Certain Magical Virtual-On] appear among the rewards.

 

Dark Blast Colors

The Dark Blast menu has added new functionality to customize the main and sub colors of your Dark Blast. Coordinate among your friends to create your own mighty morphing Dark Super Sentai team.

 

Special Mission: Kazuchi Assault

The latest Bonus Quest takes us to Harukotan for a brawl in Shironia. Izane and Tagami have stormed the city, offering up a chance for ★12 units and crafting materials. You’ve got ten minutes to defeat all the enemies and claim victory!

In order to access this quest, you’ll need to pick up its Bonus Key by clearing Featured Quests with an A-Rank or higher.

 

Special Ability Protection

PSO2 is introducing a new support item that helps protect your weapon or unit from harm. This support item can be used only on equipment with 5 affix slots or less. When the protection is used, the items involved in the process will return to their previous state if the affix happens to fail.

Special Ability Protection will be released during a week-long support item scratch starting February 28th!

 

Material Storage Feature Expansion

Grinders, Weapons Badges, EXcubes, and other items classified as “Tools” can now be placed into the Material Storage box. Items stored in this manner can be used directly in transactions when dealing with the Item Lab or Exchange Shops.

 

New SG Shop

For your added continence, the Star Gem shop can now be accessed from the Main Menu. The “Salon Pass S,” the first product to debut in the shop, will function the same as the original Salon Pass released before.

※Salon Passes purchased prior to this update can still be used in the same manner.

 

More Support Partners

Create even more Support Partners for your personal army of fetchers with an expanded capacity of up to seven.

 

Other Features

Boost Items

  • You can now overwrite certain boost items of the same type by consuming ones with more potent effects.
  • “EX” classified booster items can be overwritten regardless of whether they are a different type or potency.

  • The shop’s duration has been extended until April 9th.

Collection File

  • Evleda Collection’s duration has been extended until June 27th.
  • Aura Collection’s duration has been extended until May 9th.

The [Boisterous White Day] Emergency Quest has moved below the floating isles of Amduscia and into the confines of the crystalline caverns. A medley of male and female NPCs will accompany players along the way during Emergency Trials. Maybe even a famous Sega game composer could appear among the lineup.

 

If you’re lucky, you may land yourself a [Blue Rappy Suit Mini] costume during the quest!

Clear the seasonal Emergency Quest and NPC client orders to earn bingo rewards, like the new [White Laplace] Evolution Device for your Mag!
